A Rare Look Inside Pixar Studios
I chose to share this clip because this shows exactly how much work goes into producing a film, a scene or even a short clip. Not only for Pixar but in general, how much work is involved in making a final production. With the help of Creative scientist Ed Catmull (1945), computer scientist, visionary entrepreneur Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) and talented artist John Lasseter (January 12, 1957), American animator, director and the chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar has improved over the years. When i first watched this clip and saw the technology involved and the techniques included, it looked very challenging and confusing however, I do believe half of Animation 'revolves' around technology in order to bring that something to life, give it a personality and character. Mostly Toy Story (1995) is shown and it is obvious that without this film, I dont think Pixar would be a big industry as it is today. I enjoyed watching this as I saw how the 'mind' of Pixar works.
